I'm Only Human": PM Modi's Podcast Debut with Kamath

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently joined Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath on his People by WTF podcast. This was PM Modi’s first-ever podcast appearance, and it lasted two hours. But instead of fighting back, the man remained calm. A bystander asked him why he wasn’t reacting. The Ahemdabadi man replied, “He is giving, but I am not taking anything, right?”

PM Modi used this story to explain how he deals with criticism in his own life. “I’m okay if they are verbally abusing me,” he said. However, he added that criticism should always be based on truth, and there should not be any malice behind it.

He also talked about the importance of being sensitive in public life. He said, “In politics, you must approach challenges with a sense of service. Without sensitivity, one cannot help people effectively.”

A Vision for a Better India

PM Modi shared his dream for India’s future. He envisions a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) by the year 2047, which will mark 100 years of India’s independence. In his vision, every Indian will have access to basic necessities like clean water, toilets, and electricity.

He explained that the driving force behind this vision is not Artificial Intelligence (AI) but Aspirational India. According to him, the hope and aspirations of people will push the country forward.

PM Modi also reflected on how India’s image in the world is improving. He remembered predicting back in 2005 that one day, people from around the world would line up to get Indian visas. He said, “That vision is becoming a reality now.”
