Patna, August 30, 2024: The National Emergency Life Support (NELS) program concluded successfully at Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS), Patna. This five-day training program saw the participation of medical officers and doctors from 20 government public hospitals. The team of trainers comprised some of the most esteemed medical professionals in the country.
The program was organized under the guidance of Dr. Abhishek Kumar Sinha, the State Program Officer for Health System Strengthening, State Health Society, Bihar. He stated that the primary objective of this training was to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services and to save as many lives as possible.
During the training sessions, participants were introduced to essential techniques for patient care in various emergency situations. Additionally, skill stations were set up to provide practical experience to the attendees.
At the conclusion of the program, participants shared their experiences, expressing that the training was crucial in enhancing their medical services. The organizers also expressed satisfaction with the program’s success, emphasizing that such training initiatives play a vital role in strengthening the capabilities of medical officers and ensuring better patient care.
