Patna, April 23: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed deep sorrow and condemned the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which several tourists reportedly lost their lives. Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the Chief Minister called the incident “sad and condemnable.”
“The news of tourists dying in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir is heartbreaking. This incident is strongly condemnable. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. I wish the injured a speedy recovery,” Kumar stated in his post.
He further emphasized that the entire country stands united against terrorism and such acts of violence will not break the nation’s spirit.
The Pahalgam attack has drawn nationwide attention and concern, as it targeted civilians in a popular tourist destination. Security forces have reportedly intensified operations in the region following the incident.
