Patna Women’s College had the distinct honor of hosting Dr. Nikhil Kant, Deputy
Director, AICTE, New Delhi, for a thought-provoking session on Climate Change! Dr.
Kant’s visit was a testament to the college’s commitment to fostering insightful
discussions on pressing global issues.
During his visit, Dr. Kant met with Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C. and lauded the
commendable initiatives of the college. His captivating leadership lecture, themed
“Vishwa Nishane Pe Hai,” drew attention to the urgent need for climate action, leaving
the audience mesmerized with his poetic insights and deep concerns about the crisis at
hand.
The session was marked by lively interaction as students posed insightful questions,
enriching the discourse further.
A heartfelt thanks to Mr. Alok John, Dean – National and International Collaborations,
and Consultancy Services, as well as Mr. Sumeet Ranjan, Assistant Professor,
Department of Zoology and Incharge of Central Research Lab, for spearheading this
collaborative effort with the Eco Task Force and SHRISTI Club.

Coordinator of Eco Task Force, Ms. Meenakshi Mishra, Coordinator – SHRISTI Club, Dr.

Professor, Department of MCA, for their invaluable contributions to the success of this
enlightening session.
