The swearing-in ceremony was administered by Governor Syed Ata Hasnain, with senior leaders of the ruling alliance in attendance. Alongside Choudhary, leaders from the Janata Dal (United) (JD(U)) also took oath, reinforcing the continuation of the NDA alliance in Bihar
